File/Keyword/Date Filtering

When filtering data, RenewData uses proprietary tools to incorporate the instructions provided and a methodology that maximizes the relevancy of the resulting data. Then, utilizing a variety of reports and sampling techniques, RenewData tests and fine-tunes the results.

Filtering capabilities also include foreign character searches, including "wildcard" search terms, to search document text as well as text-based metadata fields, such as title or author. RenewData supports Unicode language and can process documents written in any language supported by Unicode, including, but not limited to, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, Spanish, French, and Italian, as well as supports multiple character sets including Japanese dialects such as Hiragana or Katakana.

Custom Reports

The following custom reports may be used before a meet and confer or during the processing step of the e-discovery:

Extraction Reports provide a high level overview of completed extractions from assessed media and includes information regarding the extensions extracted, number of files extracted, and amount of spaced used during extraction.

Keyword Search Reports provide a detailed overview of keyword search results for completed processed files.

Date Range Reports provide a high level overview of processed message history over time for completed processed files, and include Volume ID, Month, Message Count History, and other statistics.
