Executive Management Team
As CEO, Steven Horan leads RenewData's strategy, culture, growth, and execution. Mr. Horan brings over 20 years extensive experience with capital markets, IPO's, mergers and acquisitions, strategic execution, global operations, leadership development, global negotiations, and corporate governance to RenewData. Mr. Horan joined RenewData after nine years as EVP and CFO of Arsenal Digital Solutions which was acquired by IBM.
Rich Cohen, President, leads RenewData's external activities and client advisory service functions. He brings more than 30 years of management and legal experience, as a corporate executive, consultant, and General Counsel to RenewData. Prior to joining RenewData, Mr. Cohen served as Senior Vice President & Managing Director of Legal Services for a large legal services organization focusing on complex litigation matters and bankruptcies. Previously Mr. Cohen was COO of Integrex Professional Claims Services where he was responsible for operations, IT, sales, and marketing. His extensive experience also includes General Counsel at Ohio Power and Columbus Southern Power Companies; Senior Director, Corporate Legal Markets and Strategic Alliances/Licensing at Lexis-Nexis; Vice President at Lexford Residential Trust; Deputy Law Director for the City of Cuyahoga Falls; and Assistant Law Director for the City of Akron.
Mr. Cohen has served as the President of the American Corporate Counsel Association in Ohio, Editor-in-Chief of the Electricity Journal, and former Editor of the Energy Information Bulletin. He is a member of the American and Ohio State Bar Association, and has chaired the American Bar Association's Coordinating Group on Energy Law and Ohio Electric Utility Legal Committee, co-chaired the American Bankruptcy Institute's Mass Torts Subcommittee, and has been a member of the ABA Class Actions/Derivative Suits Subcommittee. Mr. Cohen is a member of the Corporate Counsel Advisory Board for The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel and a recipient of the Distinguished Legal Service Award conferred by Corporate Legal Times. Mr. Cohen holds a Bachelor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law.
Ed McCracken, Chief Operations Officer, brings over 25 years of services and finance operations management experience to RenewData. Prior to joining RenewData, Mr. McCracken served as the COO for Global Data Systems, Inc., delivering complex IT solutions and services to the legal, health care, finance and energy industries. Mr. McCracken has also held various senior management positions at Dell Financial Services. Mr. McCracken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Jefferson College and a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University. He is also a Pennsylvania Certified Public Accountant.
Doyal Alexander, Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for all aspects of RenewData's IT infrastructure and business application development, support, and maintenance, including client support and information security. Mr. Alexander is also accountable for developing RenewData's technology strategy and ensuring the delivery of innovative, leading-edge capabilities that drive RenewData's competitive advantage. Mr. Alexander brings more than 15 years of leadership and management experience to RenewData and is recognized for his extensive domain knowledge, as well as for his ability to consistently increase business value through the application of appropriate technology solutions. Prior to joining RenewData, Mr. Alexander held key positions at Securus Technologies, Blockbuster, and Capital One, and has provided management and IT consulting to various companies in the manufacturing, healthcare, retail, finance, and technology services industries such as e-commerce, ASP, SaaS, and telecommunications.
Greg Osinoff, RenewData's Senior Vice President of Document Review and Information Analysis possesses 15 years of business development, legal and entrepreneurial experience developing effective discovery lifecycle management solutions for complex litigation and governmental reviews. In 2001, Mr. Osinoff founded Digital Mandate, a leading provider of unique solutions to the legal and compliance marketplaces. As the founder and CEO of Digital Mandate, Mr. Osinoff collaborated with hundreds of law firms and corporate legal departments to plan and produce case-specific document management strategies and services designed to increase the productivity of review teams worldwide. Prior to Digital Mandate, Mr. Osinoff was one of the top producing business development managers for IKON Office Solutions. Mr. Osinoff began his legal career as an attorney for the Law offices of Ellis R. Mirsky, a firm with a national reputation for managing complex product liability defense litigation and strategic use of technology in the legal field. Throughout his career, Mr. Osinoff has been involved in some of the largest litigations and governmental reviews, covering such issues as; intellectual property disputes, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, Department of Justice reviews, environmental disputes, product liability cases and other complex matters. Mr. Osinoff has presented at numerous continuing legal education programs throughout the United States and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and client seminars. Mr. Osinoff is a graduate of Fordham Law School in New York City.
Vance McMurry, Senior Vice President of Professional Services, possesses 16 years of global leadership experience in legal, entrepreneurial, engineering, consulting and business operations. Mr. McMurry possesses extensive expertise in leading cross functional & cultural organizations and has held leadership positions at numerous global Fortune 500 companies where he managed multiple complex and technologically advanced initiatives including EMC, SRA International, and Karna Global Technology. Mr. McMurry served in the U.S. Army for nearly 9 years where he worked at the White House in the office of Presidential Contingency Programs during two presidential administrations. He was also part of the 82nd Airborne Division and the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division. Mr. McMurry holds a Bachelor degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Joe Garber is Assistant Vice President of Product Marketing at RenewData, where he is responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives to help drive adoption and sales of the company's eDiscovery, ESI Risk Management, and evidence archiving solutions. Prior to RenewData, he was Director of Market Strategy for Autonomy ZANTAZ, where he led field marketing, market analysis, and thought leadership programs for this archiving, information governance, and eDiscovery vendor. During his 16-year career, he has also served as a management consultant for IBM, led product management for technology startups, and managed public relations activities for clients of the world's largest PR firm as well as a US Senator.
Joe has published many articles in various technology publications and has appeared in nationally broadcast interviews during his career. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University and an Master's of Business Administration from Cornell University, where he received the prestigious Park Leadership Fellow award for "demonstrated leadership and academic excellence."
Lisa Novak, Director of Human Resources, brings more than 15 years experience in recruiting, staffing, and human resources management and consulting to RenewData. Ms. Novak's extensive experience in the semiconductor and other high tech industries at startups and high-growth companies includes helping optimize a local company of only 80 employees to an international enterprise of over 550 employees, in less than 3 years. Previous to RenewData, Ms. Novak served as a consultant at Pedley-Richard and Associates, a recruiting and staffing agency, and held numerous recruiting, staffing, HR management, and consulting positions at companies including Brooktree (now Conexant), SigmaTel, and Sprint. Ms. Novak is a member and active participant in a number of local and national HR and high tech organizations. |
