| A leading financial organization sought to consolidate two disparate email systems into one archiving platform. After several attempts at finding an effective internal
solution, the brokerage firm ultimately decided that in addition to merging their email data into one secure platform for regulatory compliance purposes, this effort would also allow the firm to
better manage their data so that any future requests involving electronic discovery would be much less burdensome. Finding a capable vendor for this proved challenging. |
| The financial organization retained RenewData to create a unique solution to convert nearly 10,000 optical-based platters containing close to 20 terabytes of data into one secure
repository that would address the financial firm's legal and regulatory needs. RenewData developed a customized tool, tailored specifically for the conversion of the firm's disparate proprietary
archiving systems, into a format suitable for ingestion into the firm's new electronic communications archiving solution. Then, using existing proprietary tools for the conversion of a competing
legacy email archiving system, RenewData successfully initiated the data migration process to the brokerage firm's satisfaction. |
| The national firm is now able to house its email data in one secure platform that allows for excellent preparation and management of data for electronic discovery requests,
while complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. |
