RenewData Expands Electronic Evidence Services Team to Meet Market Demands Customer-Centric Approach Requires Added Legal and Industry Expertise AUSTIN, Texas - January 29, 2007 - RenewData, a leader in electronic evidence services for law firms and corporations, announces several key hires and promotions in the areas of legal solutions, client advisory services, project management and sales, which were completed in order to provide its clients with a full spectrum of electronic evidence expertise. "These hires and promotions were made with the goal of providing our customers with a full spectrum of electronic evidence expertise," said Ellery Buchanan, CEO of RenewData, "With end-to-end electronic discovery services, it is imperative that we are adept in managing projects every step of the way. With the new team, customers will have access to reliable legal, project management and IT expertise, from the very first meeting throughout the duration of the project." Brian Conrad joins RenewData as vice president of client services. Mr. Conrad is an experienced electronic discovery specialist, with eight years of experience in the industry. His team will manage all projects from the time data is received at RenewData through review and production. His seasoned project management team, including three licensed attorneys, defines requirements, manages timelines and provides timely and consistent communication with clients. Joe Venturella, a former deputy CIO for Williams and Connolly LLP, has been promoted to senior vice president of legal solutions. Mr. Venturella has appointed Jake Frazier, Esq. as vice president of sales and Jason Velasco as vice president of advisory services. Mr. Frazier, a licensed attorney, manages the sales team, including two other attorneys and electronic discovery industry veterans Keith Sirois and Dan Berner. Mr. Velasco, a veteran forensic investigator, leads the advisory services team. Velasco also leads a comprehensive forensics department complete with several court-experienced testifying witnesses and EnCase® certified collection technicians. Velasco will continue to participate in the Sedona Conference and Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), as well as lead the RenewData continuing legal education (CLE) program and instructional web seminars. Additionally, Heidi Maher, Esq. recently joined the advisory services department as legal solutions advisor. Ms. Maher was previously with Brown McCarroll L.L.P. and is a former assistant district attorney for Travis County, Texas. "My experience is from the law firm side of the business; therefore, I understand how frustrating it can be to work with vendors that are technological, yet don't understand the legal process," said Venturella. "Many members of our team have been in the trenches themselves, and that hands-on experience ensures that our clients have in-depth expertise available to them." Following five years of record growth, RenewData has repositioned itself for the rapidly evolving electronic evidence services segment and continued expansion into the legal services market.
