RenewData Expands With New Washington, DC Office Growing Demand for Electronic Evidence and Preservation Archiving Expertise in Nation's Capital Austin, TX, February 25, 2005 - RenewData, the leading technology provider of electronic evidence services and preservation archiving for corporations and law firms, today announced the opening of a regional office in Washington, DC. This new bureau is in response to the increasing need from law firms and businesses for support in legal cases requiring litigation response planning, forensic investigation services, electronic data extraction, ediscovery production services, expert witness services, email and user file archiving and historical data restoration services. Tom Antisdel, a former practicing attorney who advises law firms on electronic discovery and electronic data management strategies, will lead the Washington office in the role of regional manager. Antisdel comes to RenewData from the Thomson Corporation, where he sold technology and information products to major law firms. Prior to Thomson, Antisdel co-founded the world's largest career Web site for attorneys, which later became www.findlaw.com. Thomson then acquired FindLaw in 2001. We are thrilled to have someone of Tom's caliber and experience to lead our DC office as we expand our reach into the mid-Atlantic region. The need for proactive data management for litigation and investigations is growing at a phenomenal rate and, because of the high number of law firms in the region, DC is one of the hubs of this growth," said Bob Gomes, CEO and president. Antisdel is a former practicing attorney, and was involved in numerous litigation matters at both White & Case LLP and at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr LLP. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he received a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Chinese. He later graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law after working on Capitol Hill for US Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole. About RenewData Contact |
